It's been a while since I've done anything for Illustration Friday. Great word this week too! So here goes...

BLOCKS

Here's something I'm currently playing around with in my head and with paints. All drawn and painted freehand. I've taken the larger green one and altered it a bit in photoshop to how I want it to look and feel. Now I just have to create a large painted version of that green one and add figures etc. What I would like to do is an entire series of these. Hopefully I'll find some time, somewhere.. anywhere?

RAPTURE

Each year Illustrators Australia hold a 9x5 exhibition. Where each member is sent a piece of ply wood 9x5 inches to paint their response or interpretation of a selected theme. This years theme is Rapture. The Exhibition will opening Friday night 14th October at Space 39 Gallery in Little Collins St. Melb.

FROM TUMBLR

I think blogger is finally letting me in... huzzah!

Here are a few bits and pieces I've created this year that haven't be posted up on this blog. They were over on the tumblr account I set up. But I missed this space so thought I'd return and blog up the spewtank some more. Stay tuned for some other stuff I've been messing around with the last few days. If there's a bit of a gap between posts, it's because we have just had a baby.. so time is different these days. More soon. :)
